HUNGER RUN (VIRTUAL) extend the cut off time to 3 Jan 2021

According to the recent increase of confirmed pandemic cases, in consideration of the health and the safety of the participants, we have decided to extend the cut off time for "Kanahei's Small animals x HUNGER RUN 2020" Virtual Run to 3 January 2021 (Sun). Participants may get access to before 3 January 23:59 HKT to submit your "Virtual Running Record" and "Selection of Refund Option ".

Although the run is important, our health is much more essential. All participants shall put their own health first, and finish the run based on their safety considerations and actual conditions.

HUNGER RUN (VIRTUAL) starts from 12 December 2020

A friendly reminder to all participants, HUNGER RUN web portal will be activated starting from this Saturday (12 December 2020 00:00 HKT), where participants may get access to before 27 December 23:59 HKT to submit your "Virtual Running Record" and "Selection of Refund Option". Your finisher medial will be courier to your registered address on or before 29 January 2021.

Japanese character Kanahei's Small animals is coming to Hong Kong to participate the 6th annual charity running event "HUNGER RUN 2020" , organized by social enterprise FOODSPORT, on 11th October 2020 (Postponed to 13 December 2020), running with it's fans for hunger!

The event features 2km, 4km and 10km races, where Piske and Usagi will be there to cheer you up and free all of your minds to chill out at the event. The event venue will be teemed with a thematic delicious food, games and photo booths at the "Chill Hea Carnival", where you and your friends may enjoy a day with Kanahei's Small animals.

Piske and Usagi will also be joining the calorie drive movement, where all burnt calories from the event participants will be converted into the equivalent amount of calories worth of food for donation to our beneficiary "ImpactHK", providing food assistance, love and care to those in need the people in need!

The event features individuals, children, family and team race categories. For the first time, the run will start and finish at the Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre overlooking the beautiful east coast of the Hong Kong Island. The event will be teemed with exciting performances, themed photo shooting scenes, cheering teams and food and beverages, suitable for pro & new runners at all ages to join.

The proceeds of the event, after deduction of the event operating and food purchasing for donation costs , will go to "Food Assistance Program" and "FOODSPORT Community Sport Program" , support FOODSPORT to sustain and expand it's community calorie drive programs in Hong Kong.

(Non-Competitive)：

Runners completing the race within the time limit will be awarded a Finisher Medal at the finish line.

2km Little Piske Children Race

(Baby / Kid)：

A trophy will be awarded to the Champion, 1st Runner up and 2nd Runner-up of each category.
A trophy will be awarded to the child with the funniest outfit.
Runners completing the race within the time limit will be awarded a Finisher Medal at the finish line.

4km Chill Family Race：

A trophy will be awarded to the Champion, 1st Runner up and 2nd Runner-up
(The finish time of the last member will be counted as the finish time of Family race)
A trophy will be awarded to the family with the funniest outfit
Runners completing the race within the time limit will be awarded a Finisher Medal at the finish line.

4km & 10km Chill Individual Race (Men / Women)：

A trophy will be awarded to the Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up of each category.
A trophy will be awarded to one participant from 4km and 10km Chill individual race with the funniest outfit.
Runners completing the race within the time limit will be awarded a Finisher Medal at the finish line.

10km Chill Hea Team Race：

Once the enrollment is completed, participants will receive a "Confirmation Email" to verify the registration immediately (Postal will take 1 week working days). Please check the registered info carefully. For any necessary update of the team info, please contact FOODSPORT immediately. Please contact FOODSPORT at 5243 0520 / 3611 0334 if participants do not receive any confirmation email 2 weeks after the enrollment forms are submitted.

For postal registration, please post the completed Enrollment Form and the fees to "Symbol Of Alliance (FOODSPORT), Blk U, 8/F., Phase 1, Kwun Tong Ind. Ctr, 472-484 Kwun Tong Rd, Kwun Tong, Kln, H.K", titled "HUNGER RUN 2020 Registration".
Please send the enrollment form once only to avoid duplication.
If registration is not accepted, all relevant personal data will be destroyed. Enrollment Fees will be refunded by ordinary.
Please ensure the provided information is true and correct. FOODSPORT will have the rights to disqualify and not accept any false or misleading information. All fees will not be refunded.

RACE KIT COLLECTION

A "Race Pack Collection Notification Email" will be sent to all participants or team captains from 21 October 2020 onward. Please contact FOODSPORT at 5243 0520 / 3611 0334 if participants / team leaders have not receive any confirmation email by 23 October 2020.

Race packs will be arranged and available for collection on 7 - 8 November 2020. All participants / teams are required to collect the race pack (1 team member can collect participant pack for the whole team) at an specific time and location. If any participant / team cannot collect it in person, please fill in the "Authorization Form" to authorize a third person for collection.

*Please note that we will not distribute any race pack on the event day and all teams must collect it before & bring it to the event.
