Registration

If the participants provide incorrect information, fail to submit application form & pay for the entry fee,or fail to follow correct enrollment procedure, the Organizer reserves the right to reject their enrollment. All entry fee and additional donations are not refundable. No return, cancellation or transfer for all enrollments, including late and duplicate enrollments.

Late or on-site registration will not be accepted.

Participant’s age is calculated as at 11th April 2021.

The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse any enrollment.

The Organizer reserves the right to contact participants for information regarding their enrollment.

Participants must agree to obey and accept the listed terms written in the Notes to Runners.
Game Rules & Regulations

Participants must follow the rules of the event and obey the instructions given by the Organizer.

Participants are required download the “UAC Mobile APP” and log in with user ID and password prior to the event to start to play.
-
Participants may start the event at the designated starting point (Stanley plaza) and scan the “starting QR code” to activate the “UAC Mobile APP” to play and start collecting points during 29th March 2021 (12:00am HKT) to 11th April 2021 (11:59pm HKT).

When the participants has scanned the "Starting QR Code" to activate the "UAC Mobile APP" at the starting point, the event map will be displayed on the screen.

Participants are required to use the maps and tips in the “UAC Mobile APP” to plan their own routes within time limit and collect points.

All Checkpoints will be shown on the displayed map on screen inside the “UAC mobile APP” during the event. The score of each Checkpoint varies depending on the accessibility and difficulty of the Checkpoint and challenge. Those who are able to complete the event with the required points will be award a finisher gift.

When the participant has reached the required score, hints for the location of the Foodseract will automatically pop up from the "UAC Mobile APP". To win the additional challenge award, the participant is required to punch in at the "Signal Station Checkpoint" and provide the answer of the location of the Foodseract correctly within the 3 hours limit.

The event time limit will be set for 3 hours; the "UAC Mobile APP" will cut off and ends the event automatically. Points will not be counted / recorded beyond the time limit. Participants do not need to return to the starting point to end the event.

Each participant is allowed to participate once only; otherwise, they may be disqualified.

To avoid system errors and fair play during the event, ONLY ONE participant can log in and use the "UAC Mobile APP". Multiply log ins may interfere the system operation.

If participants have a faulty or unsuccessful use of the mobile phone during the event period, the responsibility will be borne by the participant.

Participants can Punch-In at each Checkpoint once only. If any participants punch-In more than once at the same Checkpoint, the organizer will take the first punch-In time and score as the official check-In time and score.

During the event, the leaderboard in the APP is for reference only.

There are "Hidden Missions / Challenges" at some of the Checkpoints. Participant(s) may decide “to participate” or “not to participate” the challenge. Should the participant(s) has accepted and complete the mission, extra points will be awarded at completion.

The organizer recommends all participants should purchase their own personal accidental insurance. We are not responsible for the safety of participants.

Participants are advised to terminate the activity immediately in case of severe weather and physical discomfort.

Participants must pay attention to road condition and follow the instructions of traffic lights and laws during the event.

FOODSPORT reserves the right to retain, add, modify and interpret any rules and regulation of the race; if any amendments are made, the announcement by FOODSPORT on the day of the race shall be final.
Compete the Race with Care

Safety comes first! Keep your eyes open, stay sharp and beware of your surrounding.

Participants should be aware of social distancing restrictions. Please keep social distance even exercising. You are only exempt from mask wearing in exercise. Please wear your mask when not exercising.

Keep the place clean and tidy. Participants are encouraged to properly recycle any empty bottles and materials.

FOODSPORT encourage participants to bring their own water bottles to reduce plastic consumption. Public water supply is available and shown on the map.

Dog owners must pay extra care and be response to clean up dog's faeces at the event at all times, to avoid affecting other public users.

All participants need to clean the pet's excrement by themselves.
Luggage Storage
There will be NO luggage storage during the event period. Participants may choose to consider using the public lockers in Stanley Plaza to store your belongings.
Event Start and Finish

FOODSPORT will use your personal information in accordance with the "Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance," the relevant provisions and confidential.

The information you provide (including name, telephone number and email address) will be used to FOODSPORT's products and activities to promote the use, including (but not limited to) products, promotional activities, concessions, seminars, sports training, etc. information.

In any case, FOODSPORT will not disclose your personal information to third parties.

If you do not wish your personal information be used for promotional purposes, please indicate when providing information, or feel free to email to foodsport@symbol-of.com, title written on the "unsubscribe".
Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

The Organizer reserves the right to postpone, cancel or cut short the event if any of the following situation occurs:
a) Adverse weather conditions
b) All Hong Kong SAR government policies caused by the COVID-19
c) Force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the organizer and which renders it
impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold the event. A force majeure event shall include, but is not limited to, act of
God, war, hostilities, invasion, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lock outs or
disorder, outbreak of disease, acts or threats of terrorism.
Any temporary changes or cancellations related to the competition/event will be subject to the announcement on the event website.

The Organizer reserves the right to make temporary changes or cancellations to related events.
Results Announcement & Sending Finisher Gift(s)

All finisher gifts will be delivered to the registered address on or before 30th April, 2021.

The official results will be released on 30th April 2021 online. Disputes or appeals regarding the results must be submitted by email to within 3 days of result announcements. The Organizer reserves the right not to entertain any disputes or appeals submitted after 3rd May 2021.

The Organizer has the right to reserve, add, modify and interpret any rules and instructions; if there are any changes, the announcement by the organizer on the day of the competition shall prevail.
*In case of discrepancies between the English and the Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.*
