FOODSPORT x SUPWAYHK Kayak Eco Explore Tour

FOODSPORT is pleased to cooperatewith SUPWAY HK once again. This event will take participants on a deep exploration of the natural wonders of the magnificent.

Under the guidance of the professional SUPWAY HK team, we will kayak through the mangrove forests of the tidal flats and the Ma Shi Chau, allowing everyone to personally experience these unique ecosystems and understand the threats and impacts of marine litter on the environment.

During the activity, we encourage participants to actively participate in coastal cleanup efforts, working together to protect this beautiful natural environment. Let’s invite your friends and family to join us in exploring the natural marvels of Tai Mei Tuk and contributing to environmental protection. Online registration will be available from 3 Aug (1200 noon) to 9 Aug (1200 noon), limited quota, First come First Served.  Join us to free you mind and donate calories for our season 3 beneficiary “RUN Hong Kong” to serve those in need.

《MEET UP LOCATION & TIME》

Travel Meet up Location & Time : 08:00am at Tai Po Market MTR Station

(On the event day, we will gather at Tai Po Market MTR Station and then set off together.)

* In addition, if participants want to go to the event meet up location individually, they can take the following means of transportation:

Method 1) You can take KMB Route 75K (to Tai Mei Tuk) from Tai Po Market Bus Terminus, get off at Ting Kok Station, cross the road opposite and enter the small road to reach Hung Wan BBQ, and then follow the road to the SUPWAY HK

Method 2) You can take green minibus route 20C or 20R from Tai Po Market Station Public Light Bus Terminus and get off at Ting Kok Road at Ting Kok Estate. Cross the opposite road and enter the small road to reach Hung Wan BBQ and then follow the road to the SUPWAY HK.

*Due to the tight schedule of the event, please be sure to register on time according to the meet up time. Latecomers will not be allowed to wait, please note that.

《QUOTA》

40pax (First come, first served)

*The event is conducted with two people per Kayak (double boat). If there is only one person participating, the organizer will arrange for another person to join the same boat.

《FEES》

HKD $200/head ( Fees include equipment, lockers, coach fees and food donations)

*Please complete the payment and upload a screenshot of the payment confirmation when filling out the registration form.

*Once payment is successfully made, registration fees are non-refundable; cancellation of the event due to weather conditions is the only exception.

《AGE》

16 years old or above

*Participants under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by one parent to participate.

​《BAG DROP》

Limited bag drop will be provided on-site.

*Please come light and don’t bring a valuables and to keep personal belongings carefully. FOODSPORT will not be responsible for any deposited items.

《HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR CALORIES》

FOODSPORT will calculating your calorie loss according to your personal data (Such as weight, gender, age etc.), the exercise intensity and duration. All burnt calories will be converted into the equivalence amount of calories worth of food for donation to our beneficiary "RUN Hong Kong" and the needy directly.

《NOTES FOR THE EVENT》

1. Participants must follow the coach's instructions to ensure safe conduct.

2. Participants must respect and protect nature, refrain from collecting or capturing marine life, and dispose of their own garbage responsibly.

3. Participants must wear appropriate attire and equipment (no flip-flops/sandals)

4. Participants must wear life jackets during activity to ensure their own safety.

5. Participants should prepare enough light food and drinks (at least 1.5L) to maintain their energy. <No lunch time arrangement included>

6. If participants feel unwell during the activity, please notify the staff immediately, and the staff will arrange a safe place to rest

7. Participants are recommended bring their own waterproof and sunscreen products to protect themselves from sun exposure and insects.

8. Participants must prepare towels, spare dry clothes to change and footwear.

9. The venue has changing rooms, restrooms and showers for participants to use.

10. For safety reasons, non-swimmers are discouraged from participating in this event.

11. Please respect the nature by LEAVE NO TRACE. Be responsible to your own rubbish.

12. To safeguard personal interests, it is advisable for participants to purchase suitable insurance according to individual needs.

1. Participants register and attend this event, which represents that he / she is voluntary, and are willing to bear all the responsibility. The organizers and other relevant agencies are not required to bear any responsibility or any property damage or lost, injury or death.

2. FOODSPORT will use your personal information and any photos / videos taken from the event in accordance with the "Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance," the relevant provisions and confidential. The information you provide (including name, telephone number and email address) will be used to FOODSPORT's products and activities to promote the use, including (but not limited to) products, promotional activities, concessions, seminars, sports training, etc. information. In any case, FOODSPORT will not disclose your personal information to third parties. 《BAD WEATHER ARRANGEMENT》​

1. On event day, if typhoon 3 or above typhoon signal, Red / Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, the organizer(s) will make announcement on FOODSPORT Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/foodsport.hk) at least TWO (2) hours prior, to confirm the event status. Participants will NOT be informed individually on the event updates. Therefore, please stay tune with our Facebook Page.

2. During the event, in case of weather instability, due to the safety of the participants and instructors, we will find shelter at a covered and safe ground until the rain eased off before continuing.

3. On event day, If bad weather is issued, the organizer(s) will refund the registration fees (HK$200) to participants. The refund procedure will be notified by email.
